eco-decorating

We took the kids to a rocky beach on the north shore.  Here all sorts of debris rolls in:
I gathered driftwood and now have some interesting decor:

Having these things in my house reminds me of the immense beauty of natural objects.

Robin, The house is looking so wonderful with your natural venyets(spelling?)your created! To have such a beautiful textural beach to go to for me is mind blowing. What a blessing! We need to talk about a trade or something so I could get some of those beautiful white flat and round rocks for my new black and white bedroom. That round piece in the last picture - is that lava? It's not from Pele(spelling?) is it? You can always e-mail me - pattynubs is Patty from Ohio - I have to go to the library to look at my google e-mail and I been too busy to do that lately. Thanks and take care!

It's lovely being able to get to a beach isn't it to beachcomb. I'm only five minutes from the sea and scavenging is great. Lovely treasures to be found as we jut into the Atlantic. I love the piece of driftwood with the candles. What a brilliant idea.
